Rather, he is simply analyzing the situation.Scott Hinrichshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11831447472339880148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10424035.post-34938845198397790402007-12-12T15:57:00.000-07:002007-12-12T15:57:00.000-07:00I don't think Romney will win and I don't think hi...I don't think Romney will win and I don't think his religion will have anything to do with it.

Here in Minnesota, when you talk to Republicans about the candidates, their objections to Governor Romney are based on issues of governance - not religion. And the people that I am talking to are party activists - people who are most likely to be at the caucuses in February.

The only people that I see HERE talking about Governor Romney's religion as if it were an issue are the press. Hopefully we are not the oddity.

LLThe Lady Logicianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13441251478384866408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10424035.post-641001633167690142007-12-12T10:39:00.000-07:002007-12-12T10:39:00.000-07:00I hope that Feldman is not saying that HE thinks M...I hope that Feldman is not saying that HE thinks Mormons are not full-fledged Americans. I hope he's just analyzing Americans, saying that Americans in general think that, and I hope he's wrong.

Mitt Romney is not, to me, the best choice for president. And if he fails in his presidential bid, that doesn't mean that in the future another Mormon won't cast his or her hat into the ring and win. I like Noah Feldman, but I trust the American people more than that.Frank Stahelihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01822334061980912687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10424035.post-49955846750955149152007-12-12T08:20:00.000-07:002007-12-12T08:20:00.000-07:00it's interesting to me that while it is unconstitu...it's interesting to me that while it is unconstitutional for us to have a "religious test" for president, many feel just fine with having exactly that.

And no, you re right, Romney will not win the GOP nomination. He has a magic 8-ball approach to his platform positions. And that religion thing. That One Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02733838946095632239noreply@blogger.com
